After more than 10 years' experience in digital transformation consulting, Pierre Cellard (class of 2010) chose to give a new impetus to his career by devoting himself more seriously to his lifelong passion: music. Taking advantage of parental leave to step back, he trained in music production, then decided to switch to a 4/5ᵉ work rhythm to devote himself to creation.
Two years of work later, he signed his first album, Spaces, released in December 2024 under the artist name Bosio. A personal and ambitious project that blends electronic sounds with classical influences, at the crossroads of Air, Thylacine, Todd Terje... and Mozart. One of the tracks revisits the famous composer's Requiem, testifying to his taste for bridging genres and eras.
With Spaces, Pierre takes us on an introspective and elegant musical journey, between soaring textures and driving rhythms - a fine way of expressing his creativity in a different way.

Why did you enroll at ESSCA, and what do you remember about it?

I wanted to study business and I chose the excellent post-baccalaureate training offered by ESSCA.

What have been the milestones in your career?

After a master's degree in entrepreneurship at ESSCA, I started working in a communications agency. It was a very formative job, but the pace was hellish. I then had the opportunity to work in the digital sector in connection with music, creating music streaming platforms.

I then joined a consulting firm, still in the digital sector, where I progressed to management positions.

What role does music play in your life?

Essential. I started playing music when I was 15 (guitar) and I've never stopped making it, or listening to it. I was a big CD buyer for a long time. I took advantage of a period of parental leave to take a training course in computer-aided music (MAO) to become an electronic music producer.

How do you reconcile your professional life and music?

I switched to 4/5ths time 2 years ago to have time to compose and continue learning. This was followed by an album, which really resembles what I wanted to do and what I want to share with as many people as possible! It's called Spaces, under the artist name Bosio, and is available on all platforms!
