Parcours International: the 2024 nominees

For this 2024 edition, the "Parcours International" prize will be contested by ESSCAs with very different backgrounds...

From the world of luxury and beauty to agri-food, online services and Formula E, ESSCAs have brought the "French touch" to some of the world's biggest organizations and most diverse projects.

The 4 2024 nominees for the Prix Parcours International are :

Claire Fermont-Langlais (98)

Vice-president

Balmain Beauty

Claire Fermont Langlais graduated from ESSCA in 1998, with a major in international commerce and marketing, and quickly specialized in the luxury and beauty sector.

She began her career at Unilever, where she held several positions of responsibility, including Senior Brand Manager for the LAGERFELD, VALENTINO and CERRUTI designer brands. Until 2006, Claire Fermont Langlais pursued her career with Unilever, in France, Switzerland and New York.

She then joined Coty, one of the world's leading beauty companies. She worked there for over 14 years, holding key positions: Innovation Manager, Regional Lead Marketing - Luxury division and Marketing Director for iconic brands such as CALVIN KLEIN fragrances and MARC JACOBS, between April 2013 and July 2020.

Today, Claire Fermont Langlais works for The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. where she is Vice President of Balmain Beauty and Global General Manager/Vice President of AERIN Beauty.

She leads global marketing strategy and oversees brand growth in the beauty sector, on an international scale.



Loïc Linard (09)

APAC Finance director
DÉLIFRANCE Thailand

Graduating with a Master's degree in auditing, cost control and financial accounting in 2009, Loïc Linard began his career as a financial auditor at TUILLET ASSOCIES. He then embarked on a round-the-world trip with two classmates: for a year, they cycled over 10,000 km through 20 countries.

On his return, determined to work abroad, in 2011 he joined Délifrance, which develops bakery, viennoiserie, patisserie and delicatessen products for catering professionals, artisan bakers and supermarkets. Délifrance belongs to the French cereal cooperative group VIVESCIA, which specializes in growing and adding value to cereals for the food industry.

Loïc Linard is recruited to establish the Group's presence in Thailand. He successfully manages the establishment of a factory and sales office. Under his leadership, the Thai subsidiary grows from the start-up phase to sales of 4.5 million euros, with exceptional EBITDA profitability.

Since 2016, Loïc Linard has held the position of CFO for the Asia-Pacific region at Délifrance. With the support of his management team, he defines the industrial and commercial orientation and leads a policy of internal and external growth.

The Délifrance group is now the market leader in Asia, backed by strategic partnerships with major brands such as Starbucks, Accor and IKEA.



Sylvain Filippi (03)

Managing director

ENVISION RACING LTD

Graduating in 2003, Sylvain Filippi soon embarked on a career specializing in motorsports. After graduating, he began his professional career in the automotive industry, working for Mercedes-Benz and Smart.

In 2007, he moved to London and specialized in automotive consultancy, which led him to discover the (then) nascent world of electric cars through various projects for manufacturers and equipment suppliers.

In 2009, he decided to co-found his own start-up to set up the world's first circuit racing series for zero-emission electric vehicles - the EV Cup.

A fervent supporter of electric vehicles from the outset, Sylvain joined the Formula E project in 2013 as a founding member of the Virgin Racing team.

In this role, he oversees all operational aspects of the team's participation in the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Formula E championship.

Under his leadership, the team continues to make progress, consolidating its position as one of the leading players in electric car racing.

In 2018, the team is renamed Envision Racing and Sylvain is promoted to General Manager.

Success follows success, culminating in the title of World Champions in 2023.



Amélie Clugnet (03)

Country Manager Europe South

AWS

After graduating with a Master's degree in CRM in 2003, Amélie Clugnet launched her professional career with the creation of a project: le cercle des viticulteurs. She became co-founder of a start-up specializing in the rental of vineyard plots to private individuals.

In 2005, for over two years, Amélie worked at Yahoo! where she managed and developed relationships with two major media agencies, MPG and OMD, with annual sales of 5 million euros.

Then, in 2009, she joined Allianz Global Assistance and held several positions, including Business Development Manager, in the travel, leisure and mobility sector.

A few years later, in 2013, Amélie joined the multinational Amazon. There, she held various positions, including Head of Amazon Incentive South Europe and Country Manager Amazon Business France. Through her experience, Amélie Clugnet contributes to the development of Amazon's B2B activities and strategic partnerships.

In 2020, she joined the AWS teams to support Start-ups and then Large Enterprises in their digital transformation. Since January 2024, she has held the position of Country Manager Europe South at Amazon Web Services (AWS), overseeing all AWS teams in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
