Jean Charroin becomes President of FESIC

ESSCA is honored to announce the appointment of its Managing Director, Jean CHARROIN, to the presidency of FESIC, the federation of higher education establishments of collective interest.
Elected unanimously on July 9, 2025 by the Board of Directors for a 3-year term, Jean Charroin will represent the grandes écoles associations under contract with the State in various fields of higher education: management, engineering, art and human sciences, veterinary.

FESIC is the benchmark organization for private not-for-profit higher education. Thanks to their non-profit, associative status, the 30 establishments of excellence are qualified as EESPIGs (établissements d'enseignement privé d'intérêt général).They train over 80,000 students and apprentices every year. This means that they devote 100% of their resources to carrying out their training and research mission, to the benefit of student success and the building of their professional future.

FESIC reflects the disciplinary plurality and dynamism of the French higher education system.
Driven by a commitment to academic excellence and top-level research, Jean Charroin intends to "defend the EESPIGs that place students at the heart of their pedagogical project.of their educational project, rely on a stable and balanced governance model, and actively contribute to the development of companies and regions".
